Two acrylic pleine aire paintings were selected for a group exhibit currently on display at the Two Rivers Art Gallery in Prince George, B.C. The title of the show is “Pipeline – A Line of Division”.

This painting illustrates a process that I have found providing new power by working deeply, and more fully onto paintings that were done years earlier, but perhaps not fully resolved. The process can sometimes go on for years, until reaching a point of compelling assurance that a new and transformative painting had emerged.

Transformers: Art to Shape our World

Edward’s work will will be featured in an exhibition based on the permanent collection of the Two Rivers Gallery that opens the 11th October. The show will include, Lumber Freighter -Prince Rupert Harbour, and Fishing Boat- Seal Cove and Harbour Air 12 21 03.

The exhibition called Transformers: Art to Shape our World, runs until January 6, 2013.
